We visited again recently just after the land had been burned for conservation purposes.  Before arriving we thought there was probably little chance of seeing anything and reminded ourselves that it wasn't the game we were there to see but just to spend 5 days in the bush.  Surprisingly we saw so much!  Veld fires hadn't changed a thing - the area had abundant game.  The few days we were there we saw and heard everything except rhino.  I even got to see a Leopard cub.  

Kings Camp is a leading Lodge in the Lowveld.  There are no fences around the camp and each room has been individually decorated in a colonial style.  We'd like to thank the staff at the camp for the wonderful time we had.  Their dedication to the bush and sharing their enthusiasm with guests makes the precious time in the bush a wonderful experience.
